Neymar ‘unhappy’ at Paris Saint-Germain and ‘already regrets leaving’ Barcelona – reports
Rarely a week goes by without a report coming out updating fans as to Neymar’s level of happiness.
Well, this week, he’s pretty sad, according to reports in Spain.
The Brazilian became the most expensive footballer in history when he joined Paris Saint-Germain for £198 million, but it turns out that money doesn’t buy you happiness – even on Neymar’s eye-popping wages, and even in Paris.
According to a Beteve report, Neymar is already “unhappy” at PSG and “regrets” leaving Barcelona. Just months after making the record-breaking move
“Neymar: We understand that the Brazilian regrets leaving Barca and misses his life in Barcelona. It does not make for happy reading for PSG fans, with various other media sources in Spain reporting that the 25-year-old has not been happy with Emery’s training methods for a while now.
“Neymar: The footballer is unhappy with [Unai] Emery and this methods and is not comfortable in Paris.”
Neymar reportedly has special exemption from rules to keep him happy at the club, including being able to bring his training gear in a bag with his own label on, while his team-mates are not allowed to tackle him ‘strongly’.
Le Parisien reported that he has two personal physiotherapists dedicated only to him, amongst other special provisions.
It’s pretty hard to see what’s so awful about all of this, but then Le Buzz doesn’t have to suffer what Neymar is apparently going through.
Of course, there is also every chance that these reports are inaccurate and that the Brazilian is loving life in Paris. We hope it’s the latter.
